Education through Art is a methodology recently applied in several educational contexts. However, it is a set of expressions, mainly plastic, musical, literary, dramatic and physical, which has revealed high values ​​in terms of the integral development of the child.

This methodology applied in adult contexts can be seen as art therapy or we can just use it as a means of communication in its various forms of expression. This communication is essential for the teacher to understand more clearly and truthfully the needs of the students. Moreover, it is a playful teaching method, promoting learning with pleasure.

In specific classrooms, namely prison institutions, there are many activities that can be carried out which will promote education and solidification of social values ​​and good behavioral actions.


In short, the course Creative Methods with Special Needs Education, organized by Pričalica, uses methods at the core of Education through Art. It corresponds to the intrinsic characteristics of human beings and, thus, it promotes the well-being of those who practice it. In this way, it is transversal to any age group and any teaching context.
